I made it to Detroit!

I made it to Detroit! Getting to the airport with my luggage was a struggle but it was a struggle for everyone. I sat by elder Beckham from Arizona and he is going to play football at ASU. he is much more mature than the elders in my district so that was good. We got to know each other pretty good and we played games on the delta movie screen things on our seats. I have been an orphan all day, but there are 4 other sisters who I really like. I just hang out with whichever I want and they adopt me since they were in companionships at the MTC. My mission president is amazing. Super adventurous and kind, they love the outdoors a ton. The mission motto is to be the most free mission and the most obedient mission. He has made a lot of the old rules more lax and wants us to learn how to discipline ourselves. I feel really comfortable with everyone and the mission home is beautiful and super nice. I get to sleep on the floor but I'm not complaining. The blanket is so soft and not scratchy like the mtc so I'll take it! President had a short interview with me and he says that I have a great personality and that he has chosen the best trainers for all of us.

So far it is very nice and no culture shock yet. There are about 70 areas in my mission and there is a huge variety in the areas. Anything from cities to farm country

Also sisters don't go to any of the scary places in the cities cause elders get held at gun point sometimes
