Clarkston!!

Hello backyard friends and country critters!

A lot has happened in the last few weeks! Here's the whole rundown!

Facebook Miracles:
We met up with a guy named Anton. He met with missionaries in the past, but wasn't really interested. After we talked for a while we went fishing with him! We didn't catch anything, but it was still fun.

My district leader told me to start following up with people on messenger who didn't reply. I was doing that before, but I kinda forgot about it. I had his messaged this guy named Gabe a long time ago, but he never responded. I was a little hesitant to message him again, but I did it anyway. Immediately he messaged me back and asked if he could have a link to watch church on Sunday! His Dad was really sick so he felt like getting back into church would help him deal with everything going on. We met with him twice that week and his Dad miraculously got way better! Gabe  is probably one of the most sincere, good hearted people I've ever met!

Last Day in Northville:
Ryan surprised me and showed up at our apartment with a goodbye gift for me!
We passed Chris coming out of the apartment complex the same time we were coming in, so I got to say goodbye to him in person too!

That night we got to have an in person lesson with Cole! He's a door to door salesman for a buy spraying company. Everyone in their company has Segways that they ride around on from house to house. He let me ride it!! Cole can ride it while doing a handstand! He's crazy.

Clarkston:
Now I'm in Clarkston! While I was in training I went on a couple exchanges here, so I was super pumped to serve in this area! My companions are Sister Mason and Sister Griffin. Sister Mason is an Original MDM missionary, and Sister griffin is a brand new reasigned missionary. She'll be going to England! They're awesome and our ward is also awesome. Sister Mason and I are STLs over a ton of sisters, so that's been a little overwhelming.

We split the area with another companionship of sisters. They live in the same apartment complex as us, so that's fun! Unfortunately we had to give all the people we were teaching to them because they're in their area now. So basically we get to start from scratch!

I hope you all have a good week!

Love,
Sister Butler
